The Deadline's Coming...

Assuming Demetrius Fannick is the 'great attorney' he claims to be... we should see these filed tomorrow, or on Tuesday for Harlow's appeal.

Personally... I wouldn't even hold my breath... nor should Harlow Cuadra; thinking that there's even a remote chance for an appeal is just plain stupid. Just like the crime(s) that Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes are currently convicted of committing.

Update 02/07/2010: So far nothing has been filed... no surprise really. I'll update this story when something finally is.

Update 02/08/2010: Demetrius Fannick files an application for extension of time to file the brief and reproduced record.

Update 02/12/2010: On the same day Fannick files for an extension, the court grants the order. Fannick now has until March 4, 2010 to file the brief and reproduced record.

  1. We know what and how, but we still do not know why. Why did these two mooks drive up to Pennsylvania and kill Bryan Kocis? Any narrative that doesn't address that is unsatisfactory. I think Bryan was full of shit and owed dangerous people a lot of money he was not prepared to pay back. What is the book going to say?

I think the book will answer these questions... and then some. You'll probably be surprised by the simplicity of it all.

    A conspiracy it wasn't... more like a cold-blooded murder.

Did you miss PC's blog? I think it covered the trial in depth - more than answered that question for me.

I attended parts of the trial, thanks to PC, I understood, in fact was waiting for the witnesses to repeat what I had already read on PC's blog.

The book will be a nice summary of the two year journey a lot of us took in the 6 months before murder (the online fight between Brent and Brian via blogs) to the trial itself.

Looking forward to the book being published!!

  4. If you believe, as many do, that H&J's motive for murder was to be able to film porn with Brent Corrigan if only Bryan were out of the picture, then the mystery was solved for you at the trial. If, as I do, you believe that this motive theory is errant nonsense, then the mystery awaits solution.

  5. I hope the book focuses on the overwhelming evidence that convicted Harlow and made Joe plead guilty and NOT baseless, pie in the sky theories about who else could have been involved.
