  1. Just curious PC: which cover will be used at publication, the one shown on Amazon or the one here on the blog? Any further update on a publication date?

The image that's on the blog(s) and facebook page will be the actual cover. We're working on getting the old one updated on Amazon and Borders. The official release date is scheduled for 02/14/2012, though this could change and be sooner.

  6. I pre-ordered, but I think it is one more book that I am going to buy and not read. Is there any aspect of the case that we have not already hashed over on the blogs? Maybe the book will filter out all the nonsense.

Geoff... first I'd like to thank you for your order... second, I'd like to assure you that the book will contain much more than what's been discussed on the blog(s).

:) Geoff, you really know how to encourage people to read a book...
What exactly do you mean by "all the nonsense"?

Sure there is... Our interview with Joe... over 500 pages of trial transcripts... juror interviews and more. Guess it's a good thing you bought a copy. :)

Asim, Kocis had a number of unsavory associates in the porn business whom bloggers accused of involvement in his murder. The point was to cast aspersions on them and absolve Joe and Harlow. I have made it clear that I think Kocis was murdered because he owed a lot of money to dangerous people and was not prepared to repay it on time. I speculate that Joe and Harlow may have been in debt to some of the same people and were coerced to repay the debt by murdering Kocis.

  12. Geoff, your motive-theory is really interesting but if Joe and Harlow were "forced" to kill Bryan to repay debts, then they were "just" the perpetrators of the murder, not the masterminds.
Maybe J&H should have told the jury who really was the "maquiavelic" mind(s) behind the crime...
